Cultural Intelligence

“In this day and age, as our world becomes increasingly smaller, understanding the importance of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) cannot be under rated. Colleges care about traditional Intelligence (IQ), and emotional intelligence (EQ), but they also care about CQ.  They understand that experiences like this program give students learning opportunities that cannot be picked up from a book or in a classroom. Students learn first hand about the beauty of diversity and at the same time truly grasp the idea that we are more alike than we are different.  They develop their language acquisition skills, pick up on cultural nuances, and come back more informed about the increasingly inter-dependent world in which we live.”
