14-Day Teen Travel Summer Program: Paris (3), Rome (5), and Athens (4)

Day 1: Departure Day

Your teen travel summer adventure begins today! Depart for Paris with your group, excited for two weeks of exploring iconic European destinations, making new friends, and experiencing culture, art, and adventure.

Day 2: Arrival in Paris

Welcome to Paris! After settling into your accommodations, get to know your fellow travelers during an evening Seine River Cruise. As you sail past landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, you’ll see why Paris is called the “City of Light.”

Day 3: Exploring Parisian Landmarks

Dive into Parisian culture with a visit to the Louvre Museum, home to the Mona Lisa and countless masterpieces. In the afternoon, stroll through the charming streets of Montmartre and admire the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. End the day with a classic French dinner at a local bistro.

Day 4: Art and Creativity in Paris

Discover the magic of Impressionist art at Musée d’Orsay. After being inspired by works from Monet and Van Gogh, enjoy a hands-on Impressionist art class with a local artist. In the evening, join a cooking class to prepare a traditional French dinner, learning skills to impress your friends and family back home.

Day 5: Versailles and Fly to Rome

Start the day with a treasure hunt in the breathtaking gardens of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, fly to Rome, transfer to your hotel and settle in for the night for your first night in Italy!

Day 6: Beach Day in Ostia and Pizza Making

Escape to the seaside town of Ostia for a day of sun and fun on the beach. After returning to Rome, participate in an interactive pizza-making class, where you’ll learn to make authentic Italian pizza from scratch. Enjoy your creation for dinner with the group.

Day 7: Ancient Rome and Gladiator Games

Step back in time with a tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum, where history comes alive. Participate in a fun and interactive gladiator workshop, where you’ll compete in gladiator-style games and learn about ancient Roman traditions. After dinner, visit the Spanish Steps under the glow of city lights for a magical evening experience.

Day 8 - The Renaissance in Florence

Take a day trip to Florence by fast-speed train. Take a guided walking tour with an expert local guide through Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. See the highlights of this beautiful city, such as Florence’s cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore, Ghiberti’s famous Baptistry Doors, Santa Croce and the Piazza della Signoria. This afternoon, enjoy some time to explore the local markets, shops and gelaterias. Return to Rome.

Day 9: Vatican City and Trastevere

Explore Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. In the evening, wander through Trastevere, a charming Roman neighborhood known for its cobblestone streets and vibrant energy.

Day 10: Fly to Athens, Beach and Lycabettus Hill

After arriving in Athens from Rome, spend the afternoon exploring the historic Plaka neighborhood, wandering through its charming streets filled with shops and cafés.  Conclude the day with a sunset view from Lycabettus Hill, offering panoramic vistas of the city.

Day 11: Ancient Athens and Greek Culture

Explore Athens’ rich history with a guided tour of the Acropolis, including the Parthenon, and the Ancient Agora. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Greek dinner featuring music, dancing, and a lively introduction to Greek culture. Experience the joy and energy of traditional Greek celebrations.

Day 12: Sea Turtle Conservation and Beach

Spend the morning visiting the Archelon Sea Turtle Rescue Center, where you’ll learn about conservation efforts and get up close to these incredible creatures. In the afternoon, spend some time at the beach!

Day 13: Saronic Islands Day Cruise and Farewell Dinner

Embark on a day cruise to the stunning Saronic Islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. Swim in crystal-clear waters, explore charming island villages, and savor authentic Greek cuisine onboard. In the evening, return to Athens for a special farewell dinner with your group, celebrating the incredible memories and friendships made during your travels.

Day 14: Departure Day

Say goodbye to your new friends and reflect on two incredible weeks of travel, adventure, and learning. Depart from Athens with memories to last a lifetime and a deeper appreciation for the cultures you’ve experienced.
