Day by Day Itinerary

15-Day Teen Travel Summer Program - London (3), Paris (3), Lucerne (3), and Rome (4)

Day 1: Departure Day

Your European adventure begins! Board your flight, excited to explore the history, culture, and charm of Europe’s most iconic cities.

Day 2: Arrival in London and Orientation Walk

Arrive in London, where your Program Director will meet you at the airport. Transfer to your accommodations and settle in. In the evening, enjoy a walking tour of Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, and Leicester Square. End the day with a welcome dinner, introducing you to British cuisine and your fellow travelers.

Day 3: Exploring London’s Highlights and West End Show

Kick off the day with a guided tour of London, visiting landmarks like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abbey. In the evening, experience the magic of London’s theater scene with a West End show, enjoying a world-class performance in one of the city’s historic theaters.

Day 4: Tower of London, Borough Market, and Covent Garden

In the morning, delve into history with an in-depth tour of the Tower of London led by a Yeoman Warder, commonly known as a Beefeater. Explore the ancient fortress, learn about its intriguing past, and view the Crown Jewels. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Borough Market, sampling culinary delights from various stalls. Spend the evening exploring Covent Garden, known for its lively street performances, boutique shops, and diverse dining options.

Day 5: Eurostar to Paris and Evening Seine River Cruise

Board the high-speed Eurostar train to Paris, the City of Light. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodations and take a Seine River Cruise, gliding past landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Louvre. End the evening with dinner at a traditional Parisian bistro.

Day 6: In-Depth Sightseeing Tour of Paris and Montparnasse Tower at Night

Embark on a walking tour of Paris, exploring iconic sites such as the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and Montmartre. In the evening, ascend the Montparnasse Tower to its panoramic observation deck, offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of Paris illuminated under the night sky with the most amazing view of the Eiffel Tower.

Day 7: Versailles and Evening in Montmartre

Travel to the stunning Palace of Versailles, where you’ll explore the opulent gardens and the grand Hall of Mirrors. In the evening, immerse yourself in the bohemian atmosphere of Montmartre, strolling through its cobblestone streets, enjoying street performances, artists and have dinner.

Day 8: Train to Lucerne and Walking Tour

Board a high-speed train to Lucerne, Switzerland. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodations and take an orientation walk along the Reuss River, exploring the picturesque Chapel Bridge and Old Town. End the day with dinner in a cozy Swiss restaurant.

Day 9: Mt. Pilatus Adventure

Start your day with an excursion to Mount Pilatus, taking a scenic cable car ride to the summit. Enjoy breathtaking alpine views, optional hiking trails, and fun activities like the summer toboggan ride. Return to Lucerne in the afternoon for free time to explore the town or relax by the lake. End the day with a group dinner.

Day 10: Relax at Lido Beach and Time to Shop

Spend the day unwinding at the Lido on Lake Lucerne, where you can swim, sunbathe, or play beach games with your group. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to shop in Lucerne’s Old Town, known for its charming boutiques, chocolate shops, and local crafts. Wrap up the day with a relaxing group dinner by the lake.

Day 11: Travel to Italy and Pizza Making

This morning travel to Rome by train and take in the incredible scenery as you travel from Switzerland to Italy. After arriving into Rome, settle into your accommodations. Later take a hands-on pizza-making class, where you’ll create and enjoy your own authentic Italian pizza. Tonight, take an evening walk to see some of the major sights of Rome illuminated at night.

Day 12: Vatican City and Trastevere

Spend today exploring Vatican City, including the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and Vatican Museums. Later, wander through the charming Trastevere neighborhood, known for its narrow cobblestone streets, vibrant atmosphere, and authentic Roman eateries.

Day 13: Florence Sightseeing and Renaissance Masterpieces

This morning take a train to Florence and take with a guided tour of the cities iconic landmarks, including the Duomo, Ghiberti’s Baptistry Doors, and Santa Croce, delving into the rich history and artistry of the Renaissance. For lunch, explore the vibrant local markets, such as Mercato Centrale, where you can discover authentic Italian souvenirs and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit the Accademia Gallery to marvel at Michelangelo’s David and other renowned works. Return to Rome for the evening.

Day 14: Ancient Rome and Farewell Dinner

Begin your day with a guided tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum, delving into the ancient history of gladiators and emperors. In the afternoon, engage in an interactive Gladiator Games workshop, where you’ll learn combat techniques and experience the life of a gladiator. In the evening, enjoy your group’s farewell dinner in a traditional Roman trattoria and toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure your return to Rome!

Day 15: Departure Day

Say goodbye to Europe nd the incredible experiences of your journey. Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
