Day 1: Departure Day

Your adventure to Japan begins! Depart for Tokyo with your group, ready to explore Japan’s vibrant cities, immerse yourself in rich cultural experiences, and make lifelong memories.

Day 2: Arrival in Tokyo

Arrive in Tokyo and meet your local Travel Director at the airport. Transfer to your centrally located accommodations and settle in. In the evening, join your group for an orientation walk and a welcome dinner, where you’ll get a taste of Japanese cuisine and the excitement ahead.

Day 3: Exploring Tokyo, Taiko Drumming, and Harajuku

Start your day with a visit to the Meiji Shrine, one of Tokyo’s most revered landmarks, surrounded by a serene forested area in the bustling city. Later, participate in an engaging Taiko drumming workshop, where you’ll learn the rhythms and techniques of traditional Japanese drumming. Spend the afternoon exploring Harajuku, the colorful hub of Tokyo’s youth culture, with its trendy shops, street art, and quirky cafés.

Day 4: Tokyo Disneyland Adventure

Today is all about magic and thrills at Tokyo Disneyland, designed to wow teenagers and adults alike. Ride adrenaline-pumping attractions like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain, and compete for high scores on Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters. Enjoy iconic Disney snacks and capture Instagram-worthy photos at Cinderella’s Castle. End the day with the breathtaking nighttime parade and fireworks show, an unforgettable way to close out a day of fun.

Day 5: Tokyo – Imperial Palace, Tsukiji Market, and Akihabara

Begin your day at the Imperial Palace, where you’ll explore the serene East Gardens and learn about Japan’s Imperial history. Next, head to the bustling Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, where you can sample fresh sushi, street food, and unique Japanese snacks. In the afternoon, dive into the world of anime and gaming in Akihabara, Tokyo’s vibrant otaku district. Explore themed cafés, discover rare collectibles, and shop for the latest gadgets and anime merchandise.

Day 6 - Hakone - Mt. Fuji

Embark on a scenic journey to Hakone, a region renowned for its hot springs and stunning views of Mount Fuji. Begin your adventure with a cruise on Lake Ashi, where, weather permitting, you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of Mount Fuji’s majestic peak. After the cruise, ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani Valley, an active volcanic area known for its sulfurous hot springs and steam vents. Here, you can sample the local delicacy, Kuro-tamago—eggs boiled in the natural hot springs, turning their shells black and believed to add seven years to your life!

Day 7: Travel to Kyoto and Explore Gion

Board the iconic Bullet Train to Kyoto, Japan’s ancient capital. After checking into your accommodations, embark on a walking tour of Gion, Kyoto’s historic geisha district. Admire the traditional wooden houses and learn about the city’s cultural heritage as you explore its atmospheric streets.

Day 8: Kyoto Imperial Palace, Nijo Castle, and Fushimi Inari Shrine

Visit the Kyoto Imperial Palace, the former home of Japan’s Imperial Family, followed by a tour of Nijo Castle, a historic site famous for its “nightingale floors” that chirp as you walk. In the afternoon, marvel at the thousands of vermilion torii gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine, and enjoy a hike along its scenic trails.

Day 9: Day Trip to Nara

Take a day trip to Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital. Visit Todai-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha statue, and enjoy meeting the friendly, free-roaming deer at Nara Park. Explore other cultural treasures before returning to Kyoto for the evening.

Day 10: Day Trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima Island

Take the Bullet Train to Hiroshima to visit the Peace Memorial Museum and the A-Bomb Dome, a poignant reminder of history. Continue to Miyajima Island, famous for its floating torii gate and scenic views. Spend time exploring the island’s tranquil beauty before returning to Kyoto.

Day 11: Travel to Osaka and Explore Dotonbori

Travel to Osaka and start your visit with a walking tour of the vibrant Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi areas, where neon lights, street food, and unique shops create a lively atmosphere. Try local specialties like takoyaki and okonomiyaki as you immerse yourself in Osaka’s street culture. Later, visit to Osaka Castle, a striking historical landmark with panoramic views from its observation deck. In the evening, join your group for a special farewell dinner to celebrate the friendships you’ve made and the unforgettable experiences you’ve shared.

Day 12: Departure Day

Say goodbye to Japan and depart from Osaka, taking home incredible memories, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture.
