12-Day Teen Travel Summer Program: Nice (3) · Costa del Sol (3) · Seville (1) · Madrid (3) ·

Day 1: Departure to France

Your adventure begins! Board your overnight flight to Nice, ready to kick off an unforgettable journey through France, Spain, and Morocco.

Day 2: Welcome to Nice

Bienvenue! After arriving in Nice, meet your Program Director and transfer to your hotel. Head out on an orientation walk through Old Town (Vieux Nice), where narrow streets, colorful buildings, and lively cafés set the tone for the week ahead. Browse the famous Cours Saleya Market and stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, taking in your first views of the Mediterranean Sea. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and get to know your fellow travelers.

Day 3: Exploring the French Riviera – Monaco

Travel by train along the stunning coastline to Monaco, one of the smallest and wealthiest countries in the world. Visit the Prince’s Palace overlooking the harbor and watch the changing of the guard. Continue on to Monte Carlo to see Casino Square, luxury yachts, and high-end boutiques. Return to Nice for dinner.

Day 4: Hilltop Village of Èze & Mediterranean Beach Time

Begin the day in the medieval village of Èze, perched high above the sea. Wander cobblestone streets lined with artisan shops and enjoy sweeping views from the Jardin Exotique. Visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory to learn how traditional French fragrances are created. In the afternoon, head to the beach for time along the Mediterranean—swim, relax, and soak up the Riviera lifestyle!

Day 5: Flight to Spain & Beach Time on the Costa del Sol

Fly from Nice to Málaga and transfer to Torremolinos on Spain’s southern coast. The afternoon is all about beach time—swimming, relaxing, playing games, and enjoying the laid-back vibe of the Costa del Sol. In the evening, gather for dinner near the waterfront.

Day 6: Granada & the Alhambra

Travel inland to Granada for a guided visit to the Alhambra, one of Spain’s most iconic landmarks. Explore the Nasrid Palaces, Court of the Lions, Alcazaba fortress, and lush Generalife Gardens while learning about Spain’s Islamic history and architectural legacy. Enjoy free time in Granada before returning to the coast for dinner.

Day 7: Tangier, Morocco – Culture & Markets

Cross the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry to Tangier, stepping into a new continent and culture. With a local guide, explore the Kasbah and Medina, wander bustling markets, and learn about Morocco’s history as a crossroads of Africa and Europe. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch before returning to Spain in the evening.

Day 8: Travel to Seville & River Kayaking

Say goodbye to the coast and travel to Seville, the vibrant heart of Andalusia. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided kayaking tour on the Guadalquivir River, offering a unique view of historic bridges and riverfront neighborhoods. Evening walk through Seville’s lively streets and dinner in the city. Overnight in Seville.

Day 9: High-Speed Train to Madrid & Retiro Park

Board Spain’s high-speed AVE train and travel to Madrid. After checking in, head to Retiro Park, where you’ll enjoy time on the lake with rowboats and relax in one of Madrid’s most beloved green spaces. Evening orientation walk and dinner in the city.

Day 10: Madrid Sightseeing, Sports & Cooking

Dive into Madrid’s culture with a guided sightseeing tour. Visit the Prado Museum to see masterpieces by Velázquez and Goya, then head to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium for a behind-the-scenes look at the home of Real Madrid. In the evening, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on Spanish cooking class, preparing classic dishes together for dinner.

Day 11: Toledo Day Trip & Farewell Dinner

Travel to Toledo, Spain’s former capital. Explore its medieval streets, historic landmarks, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Tagus River while learning about the city’s Christian, Jewish, and Muslim heritage. Return to Madrid for free time before gathering for a farewell Tapas dinner to celebrate an incredible journey.

Day 12: Return Home

Transfer to the airport for your flight home, bringing back unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of the cultures and histories of France, Spain, and Morocco.

Teens aged 13–18 can sign up for this program on their own or with friends. They’ll join a group of like-minded students from across the United States, led and chaperoned by experienced, passionate, and globally-minded U.S.-certified educators.
