Day by Day Itinerary

DAY 1 - ROME


Board your overnight flight bound for Rome, Italy.

DAY 2 - ROME

Arrive in Rome. Meet your Travel Director at the airport and take a private motor coach to your centrally located hotel. Start exploring the city during an orientation walking tour before your group welcome dinner (included).

DAY 3 - ROME


This morning discover the jewels of the Renaissance on a guided visit to Vatican City. A local expert will guide you through St. Peter’s Basilica as well as the Vatican Museums to see highlights such as the Sistine Chapel. Enjoy a free afternoon, and later this evening, after dinner (included), join your Travel Director for an evening walking tour around the Spanish Steps and cap off your night at the Trevi Fountain.

DAY 4 - ROME


Today your focus will be on the monumental vestiges of the Roman Empire. A licensed local guide will give you a private tour around the Colosseum and Forum. Enjoy a free afternoon and evening to explore Rome at your own pace and according to your own personal interests. Your Travel Director will provide ideas, and guidance for you to make the most of your time and dinner on your own.

DAY 5 - PALERMO


Fly to Palermo. Transfer to your hotel by private motor coach. This afternoon, take an orientation walking tour and explore the lively streets of Palermo. Tonight, join your group for dinner (included).

DAY 6 - PALERMO


Today explore the beauty of the Sicilian Capital during your guided tour of Palermo and Monreale. Continue driving to the charming town of Cefalu for a visit. Return to Palermo for dinner (included).

DAY 7 - SYRACUSE

Your first stop today is in Piazza Armerina to admire the Villa Casale. Then drive to Caltagirone known as “The city of Sicilian Ceramics”. Continue to Syracuse, check into your hotel and meet your group for dinner (included).

DAY 8 - SYRACUSE

Today explore Siracusa’s ancient Greek ruins with a local guide. This afternoon, take a cruise around the island of Ortigia.

DAY 9 - TAORMINA

After check-out transfer to the beautiful Noto to admire the best example of Sicilian Baroque. After the guided tour transfer to a local winery for a wine tasting lunch at Zisola winery. (included). This afternoon transfer to your next hotel in Taormina.

DAY 10 - TAORMINA

Start the day by visiting the beautiful Sicilian pearl of the Mediterranean: Taormina! Enjoy a guided tour followed by free time in Taormina. Join your group’s farewell dinner (included).

Day 11 - Rome

Enjoy a free day in Taormina, before departing for your flight from Sicily back to Rome. You will stay by the airport, for easy connection back to the airport in the morning for your return flight. Dinner (included)

Day 12 - DEPARTURE DAY
Take a private motor coach to the airport where your Travel Director will assist the group with check-in for your return flights home.
