Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Overnight Flight
Board your overnight flight to Madrid.

Day 2 - Valencia
Arrive into Madrid, and transfer by private motor coach to Valencia. Later today, start exploring on an orientation walking tour of the city. In the evening enjoy your first dinner in Spain!

Day 3 - Valencia
This morning, take a guided tour of Valencia, a city that offers a mix of history, modernity, culture and natural beauty! Visit the Valencia Cathedral, and admire it’s Gothic architecture and climb the Miguelete Tower for panoramic views of the city. Later, take a walk through the historic, Plaza de la Reina, the Turia Gardens, and discover the Silk Exchange, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This afternoon, relax on the sandy shores of the Mediterranean Sea!

Day 4 - Valencia
Today, go kayaking on the River Carbriel, a protected area of unspoiled landscapes far from the hustle and bustle of city life! As you paddle downstream, on the river’s crystal-clear water, you’ll be surrounded by lush greenery, dense forests and rugged cliffs. Along the way, in the calmer spots of the river, take some time to take a refreshing swim in the cool water! Later, return to Valencia for dinner.

Days 5-8 - Valencia
During the school week, students will take 4 hours of immersive Spanish classes in the morning. In the afternoons, students will continue to explore the city, and take part in interactive and immersive activities, such as taking a paella cooking class, horchata and fartons tasting, flamenco show, and playing beach volleyball with local Spanish students.

Day 9 - Madrid
This morning, depart Valencia and travel to Madrid. After arriving into Madrid, take a walking tour of old Madrid including the Plaza Mayor, and try the “chocolate con churros” at the famous Chcolatería de San Ginés. Tonight, join your farewell dinner.

Day 10 - Departure Day
Transfer by private motor coach to the Madrid airport for your return flight home.
