Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Departure — Overnight Flight to Paris

Your European performing arts journey begins as you board your overnight flight to Paris, France. Settle in and get ready to experience two of Europe’s most inspiring cultural capitals—where history, creativity, and performance come together.

Day 2: Welcome to Paris

Arrive in Paris and meet your local Program Director at the airport. Transfer to your centrally located hotel and settle in before heading out for an orientation walk through the city’s historic streets. As evening falls, enjoy a scenic Seine River cruise, passing illuminated landmarks and watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle—an unforgettable first night in the City of Light.

Day 3: Paris Highlights & First Performance

Begin the day with a guided walking tour of Paris, exploring iconic neighborhoods and landmarks such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Latin Quarter, and the banks of the Seine. Learn how centuries of art, philosophy, and revolution shaped the city’s identity. In the late afternoon or early evening, prepare for your first performance, held at a church, cultural venue, or public performance space in Paris. Sharing your music in this historic setting is a powerful and inspiring way to connect with local audiences. Enjoy dinner together afterward and reflect on your debut performance abroad.

Day 4: Versailles & Montmartre

Travel by train to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, where you’ll explore the opulent Hall of Mirrors, royal apartments, and expansive gardens while learning about life at the height of French monarchy. Return to Paris in the evening to visit Montmartre, the city’s legendary artists’ quarter. Wander cobblestone streets, admire sweeping city views, and experience the creative spirit that inspired generations of painters, writers, and musicians.

Day 5: Impressionist Art & Second Paris Performance

Spend the morning participating in a hands-on Impressionist art workshop with a local artist, experimenting with techniques inspired by Monet, Renoir, and Degas. Continue your artistic exploration with a visit to the Musée d’Orsay, home to one of the world’s greatest collections of 19th-century art. Later in the day, prepare for your second performance, held in a Parisian piazza, cultural hall, or community venue. Performing in a public-facing setting allows students to engage directly with the city’s vibrant cultural life.

Day 6: Fly to Spain — Welcome to Madrid

Depart Paris and fly to Madrid, Spain’s dynamic capital. After arriving, transfer to your hotel and enjoy an orientation walk through Old Madrid, including Plaza Mayor and nearby historic streets. In the evening, savor traditional Spanish tapas followed by churros con chocolate at the famous Chocolatería de San Ginés.

Day 7: Madrid Art, Culture & Third Performance

Begin the day with a guided tour of Madrid, highlighting major landmarks and a visit to the Prado Museum, where students encounter masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, and El Greco. In the afternoon or early evening, take the stage for your third and final performance, presented in a cultural venue, church, or public performance space in Madrid. This culminating performance celebrates your artistic growth and the shared journey across two countries.

Day 8: Toledo Day Trip & Farewell Dinner

Travel to Toledo, Spain’s former capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On a guided tour, explore its winding medieval streets and visit the Gothic Cathedral, Santa María la Blanca Synagogue, and Santo Tomé Chapel, home to El Greco’s The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. Return to Madrid for a farewell dinner, celebrating your performances, friendships, and unforgettable experiences in France and Spain.

Day 9: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your return flight home, carrying memories of historic cities, meaningful performances, and the powerful experience of sharing your music across cultures.
