Day by Day Itinerary

DAY 1 - DEPARTURE DAY

Board your overnight flight bound for Venice, Italy.

DAY 2 - VENICE

Arrive in Venice. Meet your Travel Director at the airport and take a private motor coach to your hotel. Start exploring the city during an orientation walking tour before your group welcome dinner.

DAY 3 - VENICE

Today, explore the iconic city of Venice, the Queen of the Adriatic. You will enjoy a guided sightseeing which will include St. Mark’s Square where you can see the Basilica of St. Mark and the Doges Palace. You will also walk along canals and bridges such as the famous Rialto Bridge before taking a gondola ride through the city.

DAY 4 - VENICE

Take a full day excursion to the beautiful city of Padua, founded according to legend over 3,000 years ago. Explore the medieval streets, visit the Basilica of St. Antonio and admire the artistic masterpiece of the Scrovegni Chapel. Return to Venice for your overnight.

DAY 5 - LJUBLJANA
This morning depart Italy for Slovenia, along the way, visit the stunning Postojna Caves. Take a unique train ride through the underground network of karst corridors, galleries and halls. Later, continue to Ljubljana for the evening for your included dinner.

DAY 6 - LJUBLJANA
Today, enjoy a guided visit of the city. See the Old Square before crossing the Dragon Bridge on the way to Market Square. Explore the city's highlights such as the Triple Bridge, City Hall Square and the Bishop's Palace. Afterwards take a stroll along the river, and have some time to visit the many shops, boutiques and cafes!

DAY 7 - PLITVICE
Continue your journey to the Plitvice to visit the spectacular Plitvice National Park, one of the most awe-inspiring natural sights in Europe. The park has 16 terraced lakes that cascade into each other through a series of waterfalls. Walk along the wooden footbridges and pathways and you will discover the crystal-clear turquoise waters of this natural wonder. Join your group’s included dinner this evening.

DAY 8 - SPLIT
This morning travel to Zadar where you will see and listen to the famous Sea Organ. Later, continue to Split, the largest of the cities along the Croatian coast. This evening join your group’s included dinner.

DAY 9 - SPLIT
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the old town of Split on a guided sightseeing tour. Included you will see the relics of Diocletian's Palace, a palace and fort built by the retired Roman emperor in the 4th century. This afternoon is free to explore the city as you wish, your Travel Director will be full of tips and ideas to share with you to make the most of your time.

DAY 10 - DUBROVNIK
Cross the border into Bosnia & Herzegovina to visit Mostar, with its cobblestoned streets, old stone buildings, and its beautiful bridge spanning the picturesque Neretva River; you’ll be captivated by its beauty. Later, continue to Medjugorje, home of the famous shrine of Mary, before crossing the border back into Croatia. Travel to the 16th century walled city of Dubrovnik.

DAY 11 - DUBROVNIK
This morning enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of the old town—another UNESCO World Heritage Site! You will see the ancient city walls, the cathedral and the Rector's Palace as well as the harbor. The afternoon is free for you to explore more of Dubrovnik. Tonight, join your included farewell dinner.

DAY 12 - DEPARTURE DAY
Take a private motor coach to the airport where your Travel Director will assist the group with check-in for your return flights home.
