Day 1 - Departure Day

Your Italian adventure begins! Board your overnight flight to Rome and get ready to experience centuries of history, incredible food, world-famous landmarks, and unforgettable moments with new friends.

Day 2 – Welcome to Rome

Benvenuti in Italia! Upon arrival in Rome, meet your Program Director and transfer to your centrally located hotel. After settling in, stretch your legs with an orientation walk through the Eternal City, where ancient ruins, lively piazzas, and charming streets provide your first glimpse of Italy. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and get to know your fellow travelers.

Day 3 – Ancient Rome

Step back nearly 2,000 years as you explore the heart of the Roman Empire. Join a local guide to discover the legendary Colosseum, where gladiators once battled before thousands of spectators, and wander through the Roman Forum, the political and social center of ancient Rome. This afternoon, enjoy free time to explore, shop, or relax at a local café. After dinner, experience the magic of Rome by night as you visit beautifully illuminated landmarks including the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

Day 4 – Vatican City

Today you’ll visit Vatican City, the smallest independent country in the world and home of the Pope. Explore the magnificent Vatican Museums, marvel at Michelangelo’s breathtaking Sistine Chapel, and visit the awe-inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica. This evening, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain and stroll through the iconic Spanish Steps.

Day 5 – Florence & Tuscany

Travel north to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. With a local guide, discover the city’s artistic and architectural treasures, including the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistry Doors, Santa Croce, and Piazza della Signoria. Later, enjoy time to explore Florence’s bustling markets, charming streets, artisan shops, and famous gelaterias at your own pace.

Day 6 – Tuscan Farm Experience & Lucca

Experience the beauty of the Tuscan countryside during a visit to a working organic farm. Learn about sustainable agriculture, help harvest fresh ingredients, and prepare a traditional farm-to-table lunch alongside local hosts. In the afternoon, explore the enchanting walled city of Lucca, known for its cobblestone streets, picturesque piazzas, and remarkably preserved Renaissance walls. Enjoy free time to wander, shop, and sample some of Italy’s best gelato.

Day 7 – Venice

Today, journey to Venice, one of the world’s most unique and captivating cities. Built on more than 100 small islands, Venice is a maze of canals, bridges, and hidden squares waiting to be explored. Upon arrival, take an introductory walking tour through the historic center, crossing famous bridges and discovering charming neighborhoods. Then experience Venice from the water during a classic gondola ride through its picturesque canals.

Day 8 – Discovering Venice

Join a local guide for an in-depth exploration of Venice’s rich history and culture. Visit the magnificent St. Mark’s Square, admire St. Mark’s Basilica, and learn about the powerful rulers who once governed from the Doge’s Palace. This afternoon, witness the centuries-old art of Venetian glassblowing during a demonstration by a master craftsman. Tonight, celebrate your Italian adventure with a special farewell dinner and reflect on the memories you’ve made along the way.

Day 9 – Arrivederci, Italia!

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home. Take with you unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for Italy’s history, culture, and way of life.
