Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure Day

Your Italian adventure begins! Board your overnight flight to Rome and get ready to experience centuries of history, incredible food, world-famous landmarks, and unforgettable moments with new friends.

Day 2 – Welcome to Rome

Benvenuti in Italia! Upon arrival in Rome, meet your Program Director and transfer to your centrally located hotel. After settling in, stretch your legs with an orientation walk through the Eternal City, where ancient ruins, lively piazzas, and charming streets provide your first glimpse of Italy. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and get to know your fellow travelers.

Day 3 – Ancient Rome

Step back nearly 2,000 years as you explore the heart of the Roman Empire. Join a local guide to discover the legendary Colosseum, where gladiators once battled before thousands of spectators, and wander through the Roman Forum, the political and social center of ancient Rome. This afternoon, enjoy free time to explore local neighborhoods, browse shops, or relax at a café. After dinner, experience the magic of Rome by night as you visit beautifully illuminated landmarks including the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

Day 4 – Vatican City & Rome

Today you’ll visit Vatican City, the smallest independent country in the world and home of the Pope. Explore the magnificent Vatican Museums, marvel at Michelangelo’s breathtaking Sistine Chapel, and visit the awe-inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica. Later, enjoy time to explore Rome before visiting two of the city’s most iconic landmarks—the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Don’t forget to toss a coin into the fountain to ensure your return to Rome someday!

Day 5 – Florence Day Trip by High-Speed Rail

This morning, board a high-speed train for a day trip to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. With a local guide, discover the city’s artistic and architectural treasures, including the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistry Doors, Santa Croce, and Piazza della Signoria. Enjoy free time to explore Florence’s lively markets, artisan shops, and famous gelaterias before returning to Rome by train this evening.

Day 6 – Ostia Beach Day & Farewell Dinner

Today, escape the city and head to the nearby seaside town of Ostia for a relaxing day on the Mediterranean coast. Enjoy time at the beach, swim in the sea, stroll along the waterfront promenade, and soak up the laid-back atmosphere of the Italian coast. Return to Rome in the afternoon for some final sightseeing and souvenir shopping. This evening, celebrate your Italian adventure with a special farewell dinner and reflect on the memories you’ve made throughout your journey.

Day 7 – Arrivederci, Italia!

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home. As you head home, take with you unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for Italy’s history, culture, and way of life.
