Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Washington, DC
Board your flight to Washington DC. Upon arrival meet your local Travel Director and transfer to your centrally located hotel. This afternoon enjoy a walk along the National Mall to see highlights such as the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Take a group photo at the White House.

Day 2 - Washington, DC

This morning take a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol (if this is unavailable due to any restrictions, we will plan to visit the Supreme Court or Library of Congress). After lunch, visit the National Natural History Museum. This Smithsonian Museum, tells the history of our planet and will help us better understand how we can create a more sustainable future. Explore Bone Hall, the Butterfly Pavilion and many more exhibits as you learn about the natural world and our place in it.

 Day 3 - Washington, DC

This morning you’ll visit Arlington National Cemetery. Pay your respects to America’s missing service members at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, watch the Changing of the Guard, visit President John F. Kennedy’s Gravesite and many other memorial and monuments honoring events and individuals that have played an important role in shaping our nation. This afternoon, visit the National Air and Space Museum and explore the world's largest collection of aviation and space artifacts, encompassing all aspects of human flight.

Day 4- Washington, DC

This morning, visit the National Museum of African American Culture, the newest of all the Smithsonian Museums and the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. Later in the day, visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, this museum inspires citizens and leaders worldwide to confront hatred, prevent genocide, and promote human dignity.

Day 5 - Washington, DC

Transfer to the airport for your flight home from our nation’s capital.
