Day by Day Itinerary

April 1st:

This morning depart Boston Logan and fly to Washington, DC. After arrival, visit the D.C. Wharf for lunch and then embark on a monuments and memorials walk, visiting the Jefferson Memorial, strolling around the Tidal Basin, exploring the Washington Monument, and taking part in a name rubbing at the Vietnam Wall Memorial. Later, check into your hotel and get ready for dinner. Tonight, take a bus tour of D.C., with a stop at the Lincoln Memorial.

April 2nd:

After breakfast at the hotel, take a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol Building, followed by a group photo at the Grant Memorial. The day continues with a visit to the Holocaust Museum for a two-hour exploration. Lunch will be served in the museum cafeteria. In the afternoon, we will take a guided tour of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and attend the 5:15 PM Mass. Dinner will be in the White House neighborhood, followed by a photo stop at the White House and an evening walking tour of the White House neighborhood. Please note that this is a walking tour, and you will not be going inside any museums or attractions.

April 3rd:

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Arlington National Cemetery. Pay your respects to America’s missing service members at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, visit President John F. Kennedy’s gravesite and many other memorial and monuments honoring events and individuals that have played an important role in shaping our nation. Afterward, have lunch at the Natural History Museum, followed by two hours of exploration within the museum. We’ll then visit the top of the Washington Monument before touring Ford’s Theatre. Tonight, have dinner in Old Town Alexandria, and take an evening ghost tour of the area!

April 4th:

On our final day, we will start with breakfast at the hotel before boarding the bus for a visit to the Mount Vernon Estate. After lunch visit the National Zoo! Later, travel to the airport for your return flight home.
