Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Boston
Depart Detroit for Boston’s Logan airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy an orientation walk of Boston’s North End (Little Italy) before your welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Boston
This morning, take a walk along the 2.5 mile long Freedom Trail and learn about the churches, meeting houses, cemeteries and historical markers and their tremendous significance to the history of the United States. Later, enjoy free time for lunch and souvenir shopping in Faneuil Hall. After lunch, take a walking tour of Harvard University. Established in 1636, this prestigious, Ivy League school is the oldest institute of higher learning in the United States, and later spend some time exploring the many shops, and cafes in Harvard Square.

Day 3 - Boston
This morning, meet with a local professor and specialist to discuss the US initiatives in offshore wind research. Later, visit the Museum of Science where science and technology come alive, and watch a featured IMAX movie, “The Heart of New England.” Tonight, go ice skating on the Frog Pond in Boston Common.

Day 4 - Boston
This morning, take an interactive STEM robotics workshop at MassRobotics. After lunch, visit View Boston, the tallest observation deck in New England and learn more about Boston through its immersive exhibits. Tonight, join your farewell dinner!

Day 5 - Departure Day
Transfer to Boston Logan Airport for your return flight home.
