Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Departure

Your journey begins as you board your overnight flight to London, ready to embark on an exciting and empowering adventure with your fellow Girl Scouts.

Day 2: Welcome to London

Arrive in London and head to your centrally located hotel. After settling in, stretch your legs with an active orientation walk, exploring iconic landmarks like Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus. In the evening, enjoy a traditional English dinner followed by a stroll around Covent Garden, where you’ll take in the vibrant atmosphere and street performances.

Day 3: London Highlights & Leadership

Start your day with an energizing city tour, visiting London’s most famous sights, including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the sprawling green spaces of Hyde Park. Afterward, take an active walk through St. James’s Park, where you’ll learn about its royal history while enjoying time outdoors. In the afternoon, meet with a former ambassador to gain insights into global diplomacy and leadership, encouraging you to think about your role in the world. Finish your day by experiencing a lively show in London’s West End.

Day 4: Tower of London & Pax Lodge Visit

Begin your day with a Beefeater-led tour of the Tower of London, where you’ll hear fascinating stories of bravery and history. Explore the Crown Jewels and the legendary fortress before heading to Borough Market for a tasty lunch, where you’ll sample local and international cuisine. In the afternoon, visit Pax Lodge, one of the World Centres of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. Engage in activities with fellow Girl Scouts from around the world, learning about global citizenship, leadership, and the power of international sisterhood. End the day with a sense of pride and inspiration, knowing you’re part of a global movement.

Day 5: Eurostar to Paris

Board the high-speed Eurostar train to Paris, the City of Light. Upon arrival, embark on an active walking tour with a local guide, exploring key sights like the Palais Garnier, Notre Dame, and the charming Latin Quarter. In the evening, unwind with a scenic cruise on the Seine River, where you’ll see Paris illuminated, reflecting on the powerful moments of the day.

Day 6: Versailles & French Cooking

Today, take the RER train to the stunning Palace of Versailles, where you’ll explore the palace and its famous gardens. Engage in a Girl Scouts’ leadership discussion about women’s roles in history, inspired by the palace’s grandeur. After a picnic in the gardens, return to Paris for an interactive French cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare and enjoy a traditional French meal. End the night with a visit to the Eiffel Tower, climbing to the top for incredible views of Paris.

Day 7: Art, Adventure, and Creativity in Paris

Start the day with a visit to the world-renowned Louvre Museum, where you’ll explore its vast collection of art. Afterward, walk through the peaceful Tuileries Gardens, and get active with a game of bocce in the park. Later, channel your creativity in an impressionist art class led by a local artist. Take home your masterpiece as a special reminder of your time in Paris. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in Montmartre, celebrating your journey and newfound friendships.

Day 8: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your flight home, returning with lasting memories, stronger leadership skills, and a sense of empowerment from your time exploring London and Paris as a Girl Scout.
