Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - New York City
Board your flight from Atlanta to New York City. Upon arrival meet your local Travel Directors and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy an orientation walking tour of Midtown and Times. Later, theatre students will visit Radio City Music Hall for a backstage tour, and the visual art students will visit the Guggenheim. This evening, join your welcome dinner in The Big Apple and finish your night at the Empire State Building for incredible and iconic views of Manhattan.

Day 2 - New York City

This morning, take a walking tour of the High Line, an elevated freight rail way that has been transformed into a public park on the West Side of Manhattan, you will get to see historic buildings, beautiful greenery, and artwork. Later, visit Artechouse, an innovative leader in the field of digital and experiential art, Artechouse expands the possibilities of art and how we experience it through cutting edge technology-driven exhibitions and experiences. After lunch, head out to Ellis Island to visit the National Immigration Museum and the Statue of Liberty. Tonight, enjoy a Broadway show.

Day 3 - New York City

This morning, visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the largest art museum in the Western Hemisphere, which presents over 5,000 years of art from around the world. This afternoon, visual art students will visit MOMA, and explore it’s thought-provoking modern and contemporary art collection, and then head out to Central Park to sketch (if it is raining, we will sketch in Grand Central Station), while performing art students take in an Off-Broadway matinee performance. This evening, the group will all be back together for dinner and attend a Broadway show.

Day 4 - New York City

This morning take a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and explore the vibrant, and artistic neighborhoods of Brooklyn for lunch. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
