Day by Day Itinerary
9 Days | Madrid (3) and Seville (4)
Day 1: Departure Day
Your adventure begins! Board your flight, ready to explore the history, culture, and landscapes of Spain!
Day 2: ¡Bienvenidos a España! – Arrival in Madrid
Arrive in Spain’s capital and meet your Program Director. After dropping your luggage at your hotel, head out on walking tour through Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the Royal Palace surroundings. Later, stop by a local market to pick up items for a picnic dinner in Retiro Park!
Day 3: Toledo Day Trip & Real Madrid Stadium
This morning, take an excursion to Toledo, a beautifully preserved city blending Christian, Jewish, and Muslim influences. Visit the impressive Toledo Cathedral, stroll the winding medieval streets, and browse local artisan shops. Later this afternoon return to Madrid and go behind the scenes at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid! End your day with churros and chocolate at the iconic Chocolatería de San Ginés.
Day 4: High-Speed to Seville
This morning, head to the Prado Museum to admire masterpieces by Goya, El Greco, and Velázquez. Later, grab lunch and board the AVE high-speed train and head south to Seville. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Begin exploring Andalusia’s capital with a guided walk through the Barrio Santa Cruz, Seville’s atmospheric old quarter.
Day 5: Seville Sights, Alcázar & River Kayaking
This full day in Seville begins with visits to the Seville Cathedral and a climb up the Giralda Tower for panoramic views. Continue to the spectacular Royal Alcázar, filled with ornate architecture and lush gardens. In the evening, kayak down the Guadalquivir River, seeing Seville from a whole new angle.
Day 6: Day Trip to Ronda – Cliffside Beauty & History
Spend the day in the dramatic hilltop town of Ronda, famous for its deep gorge and Puente Nuevo bridge. Explore the old town, learn about Ronda’s bullfighting heritage, and soak in stunning views of the Andalusian countryside. This evening, take part in a hands-on tapas-making class, where you’ll cook and taste classic Spanish small plates.
Day 7: School Visit & Ceramics Workshop
Visit a local Spanish school this morning to engage in a cultural exchange and connect with students your own age. In the afternoon, get creative in a ceramics workshop, learning the art of Andalusian tile-making and crafting your own piece to take home. Enjoy a relaxed final evening in Seville.
Day 8: Córdoba & Flamenco Farewell
Travel to Córdoba and explore the architectural wonder of the Mezquita, then walk through the charming Jewish Quarter. After lunch in a traditional courtyard café, return to Seville for your last night in Spain—complete with a passionate flamenco show and farewell dinner.
Day 9: Hasta Luego, España
Enjoy breakfast, pack up, and transfer to the airport for your flight home. Leave Spain inspired, informed, and full of new friendships and unforgettable memories.
