Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Saturday, March 28 | Welcome to New York City!
Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Chicago to New York City. After meeting your Program Director at the airport, transfer to midtown to drop-off your luggage at your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the beauty of Central Park on a guided walking tour, where you’ll visit iconic spots like Bethesda Terrace, the Mall, and Strawberry Fields. After checking into your Midtown hotel, you’ll take an orientation walk through the heart of Times Square and the bustling Theatre District—setting the stage for an exciting evening at your first Broadway show!
Day 2 – Sunday, March 29 | On Stage and Behind the Curtain
Get ready to dive deep into the magic of theatre! This morning, you’ll take part in a hands-on theatre workshop, where you can choose a specialty track—whether it’s makeup artistry, stage crew and tech, voice, or acting. After lunch in the vibrant Theatre District, you’ll visit the Museum of Broadway, an interactive experience tracing the rich history of New York’s legendary stage scene. In the evening, experience the creativity and energy of an Off-Broadway performance, giving you a taste of the city’s cutting-edge theatre scene.
Day 3 – Monday, March 30 | Lights, Camera, Action
Today, explore the city through a different lens with a Film & TV Location Tour, visiting famous sites from your favorite shows and movies filmed across Manhattan. Enjoy lunch at Chelsea Market, then stroll the elevated greenway of the High Line. In the afternoon, step behind the scenes with a Backstage Tour of Radio City Music Hall, learning about one of the most iconic venues in the world. Cap off the night by heading to the top of the Empire State Building for unforgettable views of the city skyline.
Day 4 – Tuesday, March 31 | Icons of New York
Start your day with a ferry ride to two of America’s most iconic landmarks: the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, where you’ll connect with the history of immigrants who shaped the nation. After lunch, take a meaningful walk through Battery Park and the Financial District, with time to visit the 9/11 Memorial. Tonight, the magic of Broadway returns with your second Broadway show, a perfect way to wrap up an inspiring day.
Day 5 – Wednesday, April 1 | Brooklyn Adventures and Farewell
Enjoy a scenic morning walk across the Brooklyn Bridge into one of New York’s coolest neighborhoods. You’ll have free time to explore DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, and optional visits to places like the Brooklyn Museum or Prospect Park.
