Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Departure Day

Your summer adventure begins! Depart for Barcelona with your group, ready to explore two of Europe’s most dynamic cultural capitals. Meet fellow travelers at the airport and begin building connections before even landing overseas.

Day 2: Arrival in Barcelona

¡Bienvenidos! Arrive in Barcelona and transfer to your centrally located accommodations. After settling in, head out for an orientation walk along Las Ramblas, where flower stalls, street performers, and local cafés bring the city to life. Wander through Plaça Reial and into the Gothic Quarter’s winding medieval streets for a first taste of Catalan culture. Enjoy a welcome dinner together, sampling regional cuisine and setting the tone for the days ahead.

Day 3: Barcelona Highlights & Paella Cooking Class

Begin the day with a guided walking tour of Barcelona’s architectural and historic treasures. Explore the Gothic Quarter, and admire Antoni Gaudí’s breathtaking Sagrada Família while learning about his revolutionary vision. Continue to Park Güell, where vibrant mosaics and panoramic city views showcase Gaudí’s artistic genius. Tonight, take a hands-on paella cooking class. Learn traditional techniques, prepare Spain’s iconic dish, and sit down together to enjoy the meal you’ve created.

Day 4: Montserrat & Mediterranean Coast

Travel outside the city to Montserrat, a dramatic mountain range home to a centuries-old Benedictine monastery. Take in sweeping views, walk scenic trails, and learn about the spiritual and cultural importance of this site in Catalonia. Return to Barcelona in the afternoon for time along the Mediterranean coast. Relax on the beach, swim in the sea, or play soccer on the beach as you experience the laid-back rhythm of coastal Spain.

Day 5: Travel to Paris & Seine River Cruise

Fly to Paris in the morning and transfer into the heart of the city. Begin your introduction with a guided walking tour through the Latin Quarter, passing historic universities, charming cafés, and the exterior of Notre Dame Cathedral. In the evening, board a Seine River cruise, gliding past illuminated landmarks as the city transforms at sunset — an unforgettable first night in Paris.

Day 6: Versailles & Montparnasse Tower

Travel to Versailles for a guided visit of the palace and gardens. Walk through the Hall of Mirrors, explore royal apartments, and learn how this grand estate shaped French history. Stroll through the formal gardens and fountains before returning to Paris. Later, visit the Montparnasse Tower for panoramic views of the Paris skyline — including the sparkling Eiffel Tower — offering one of the best vantage points in the city.

Day 7: Musée d’Orsay, Art Workshop & Montmartre Farewell

Spend the morning at the Musée d’Orsay, home to Impressionist masterpieces by Monet, Van Gogh, Degas, and Renoir. Following your visit, participate in an interactive art workshop inspired by what you’ve seen — creating your own piece influenced by the Parisian artistic tradition. In the afternoon, explore Montmartre, wandering cobblestone streets once frequented by Picasso and other artists. Visit Sacré-Cœur Basilica and take in sweeping views over the city. Celebrate your program with a special farewell dinner at a typical Parisian bistro in Montmartre!

Day 8: Departure Day

Transfer to the airport for your return flight home, bringing back unforgettable memories of Barcelona’s vibrant energy and Paris’s timeless beauty.
