Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 - Departure
Begin your journey with an overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrival in London
Arrive in London and transfer by private motor coach to your centrally located hotel. Later, enjoy an orientation walk around iconic spots like Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus. In the evening, savor a classic “fish and chips” dinner, followed by a stroll through the lively Covent Garden.
Day 3 - Exploring London
Get ready to experience the highlights of London on a guided city tour. Take in some of the capital’s most iconic sights, including Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Hyde Park, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace—and if timing allows, catch the Changing of the Guard. In the afternoon, dive into World War II history with a visit to the Churchill War Rooms, the hidden underground headquarters where Winston Churchill and his team strategized during the war. This evening, enjoy a night of theater in the West End with a performance of Wicked.
Day 4 – History in London
Begin the day with a visit to the Tower of London, where a Beefeater guide will lead you through this historic fortress. Learn about the Yeoman Warders, explore the castle grounds, and see the Crown Jewels up close. In the afternoon, head to Borough Market, one of London’s oldest and most vibrant food markets—perfect for tasting local flavors and grabbing lunch. Afterward, enjoy a walk along the scenic South Bank, where you’ll take in riverside views, street performers, and see landmarks like the London Eye and Shakespeare’s Globe.
Day 5 – London to Paris
Board the high-speed Eurostar train and travel beneath the English Channel to the heart of Paris. Upon arrival, take a guided city tour highlighting some of Paris’s most iconic landmarks, including the Arc de Triomphe, the elegant Champs-Élysées, and the grand Opéra Garnier. This evening, head to the hilltop neighborhood of Montmartre for a relaxed stroll through its cobblestone streets, soaking in the bohemian spirit and views of the city below.
Day 6 – Versailles & Paris by Night
This morning, step into royal history with a visit to the Palace of Versailles, where you’ll explore the lavish Hall of Mirrors, ornate chambers, and expansive gardens once home to Louis XIV’s court. In the afternoon, return to Paris and make your way to the iconic Eiffel Tower—with time to explore the base or ascend for panoramic views of the city. After dinner, cap off the night with a Seine River cruise, where you’ll see Paris’s landmarks beautifully lit against the night sky—an unforgettable view of the City of Light.
Day 7 - Normandy and Amiens
Head to Normandy for a day dedicated to WWII history. Walk the D-Day beaches, visit the American Cemetery, and tour the D-Day Museum to see exhibits on the Allied invasion. Continue to Amiens, where you’ll take a guided walking tour of this historic city. See the breathtaking Amiens Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its towering Gothic architecture and intricate stone carvings. Stroll through the peaceful Hortillonnages, a network of floating gardens and canals, and visit St. Leu, the picturesque old town with charming cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and riverside cafes.
Day 8 - Journey to Amsterdam
Travel to The Netherlands, stopping first in Kinderdijk for a scenic bike ride among 18th-century windmills. Then, continue to Amsterdam, check into your hotel, and experience the city from the water with a nighttime canal cruise.
Day 9 - Discovering Amsterdam
Start the day with a guided tour of Amsterdam, including a visit to the Anne Frank House to see the annex where Anne and her family hid during WWII. Later, explore the Bloemenmarkt, the world’s only floating flower market, and enjoy shopping among its vendors. After dinner, take in more sights of the city by night on a canal cruise.
Day 10 - Departure
Transfer by private motor coach to Amsterdam airport for your return flight home.
