Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Take Off for Iceland

Your adventure begins as you board an overnight flight bound for Reykjavik. Get ready to explore one of the most unique and awe-inspiring destinations on Earth—filled with volcanoes, glaciers, geysers, and unforgettable moments.

Day 2 – Welcome to the Land of Fire and Ice

Arrive in Reykjavik and kick off your journey with a visit to Viking World, where you’ll dive into Iceland’s rich seafaring history. Then it’s time to unwind in one of the country’s most iconic experiences—the Blue Lagoon. Soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters of this geothermal spa surrounded by lava fields. Afterward, head into Reykjavik, Iceland’s vibrant capital, for your first group dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – The Golden Circle

Today you’ll explore the famous Golden Circle, packed with Iceland’s most iconic natural and geological wonders. Begin at the Hellisheiði Geothermal Power Plant to learn how Iceland harnesses the Earth’s energy. Then head to the Friðheimar greenhouse, where tomatoes are grown year-round using geothermal heat—yes, you’ll get to taste them! Next, marvel at erupting hot springs in the Geysir Geothermal Area and feel the spray of Gullfoss, the mighty “Golden Waterfall.” End the day at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Iceland’s first parliament met—and where the Earth’s tectonic plates pull apart before your eyes.

Day 4 – Volcanoes, Glaciers & Black Sand Beaches

Get ready for a day of dramatic landscapes as you drive toward the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, known for its 2010 eruption that captured global attention. At the Lava Centre, you’ll explore Iceland’s volcanic history through hands-on exhibits and immersive displays. Then it’s off to the Sólheimajökull Glacier for an unforgettable guided hike along ancient ice formations. You’ll end the day at the world-famous Reynisfjara black-sand beach, where towering basalt columns and crashing Atlantic waves create one of the most surreal coastlines on the planet.

Day 5 – Whales & Reykjavik Culture

Start your morning with a whale-watching excursion off the coast of Iceland—keep an eye out for minke whales, humpbacks, dolphins, and porpoises. Back on land, spend the afternoon exploring Reykjavik on a guided walking tour. Visit the striking Hallgrímskirkja church, stroll through charming downtown streets, and soak up the culture in the shops, cafes, and colorful neighborhoods that make this city so unique.

Day 6 – Farewell, Iceland

Enjoy a final breakfast in Reykjavik before heading to the airport for your return flight home. You’ll leave with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty and culture of Iceland.
