Visit the Constitution Center and experience Freedom Rising, an inspiring multimedia presentation that brings the story of the U.S. Constitution to life. Continue on to the iconic Liberty Bell, a powerful symbol of American independence.

If time allows, take a walking tour through Philadelphia’s historic Old City and/or stop by the U.S. Mint for a behind-the-scenes look at how American currency is made. This evening, enjoy dinner at the famous Reading Terminal Market, where students can choose from a wide variety of local favorites. After dinner, continue on to the Washington, DC area and settle into your hotel.

Day 2 – Capitol Hill & Monuments by Night
Start your day with a guided visit to the U.S. Capitol, where the nation’s laws are created, followed by a tour of the stunning Library of Congress, home to millions of books, documents, and historical treasures.

After lunch, spend the afternoon exploring some of Washington’s world-class museums. Begin with a powerful and moving visit to the Holocaust Memorial Museum, then choose between the Smithsonian’s Museum of American History or Natural History based on your interests.

After dinner, experience one of the highlights of the trip—Monuments by Night. Visit the WWII Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial, all beautifully illuminated and incredibly impactful after dark.
