Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight Flight to London

Your performing arts journey begins as you board your overnight flight to London. Settle in and imagine the historic theaters, rehearsal studios, and iconic stages where you’ll soon perform and learn.

Day 2: Arrival in London & West End Welcome

Arrive in London and meet your Program Director at the airport. Transfer to your centrally located hotel and get settled before heading out on an orientation walk through the heart of the city. Stroll past Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, and Leicester Square, where theater marquees and street performers set the tone for the days ahead. This evening, enjoy a traditional British dinner before exploring the lively Covent Garden district, known for its talented street artists and theatrical energy.

Day 3: London Landmarks & West End Performance

Begin the day with a guided sightseeing tour of London’s most iconic landmarks, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and Hyde Park. Learn how centuries of history, monarchy, and culture have shaped one of the world’s great artistic capitals. After free time in St. James’s Park, prepare for an unforgettable evening in the Theater District as you attend a West End show, experiencing world-class live performance in one of London’s legendary venues.

Day 4: Shakespeare’s London & First Performance

Step into the world of William Shakespeare with a visit to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Take part in a hands-on acting workshop led by Globe professionals, focusing on movement, voice, and performance techniques rooted in Shakespearean tradition. Afterward, enjoy lunch and free time exploring Borough Market, one of London’s oldest and most vibrant food markets. In the late afternoon or early evening, share your talents during your first student performance, held at a cultural venue, community space, or historic setting—an exciting opportunity to perform in the city where theater was born.

Day 5: Windsor, Choral Tradition & Cultural Evening

Travel by train to Windsor, home to Windsor Castle, a residence of the British Royal Family for nearly 1,000 years. Explore the town and learn about Britain’s royal traditions before returning to London. In the afternoon or early evening, attend a choral performance or evensong service at a historic London church or cathedral, experiencing the rich vocal traditions that remain central to British musical life.

Day 6: Royal Opera House & Second West End Show

Spend the morning exploring London at a relaxed pace before heading to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden for a behind-the-scenes guided tour. Learn how opera, ballet, and orchestral productions come together—from rehearsals and costume design to lighting and stagecraft. Later, enjoy dinner before attending a second West End performance, offering students the chance to compare styles, genres, and staging across productions.

Day 7: Performance, Workshops & South Bank Arts Scene

Begin the day with an interactive performing arts workshop—options may include contemporary theater, ensemble performance, stage movement, or audition technique, led by London-based artists. In the afternoon, take part in your final student performance, celebrating your growth and artistry in an inspiring public or cultural venue. Afterward, enjoy a guided walk along London’s South Bank, passing the National Theatre, Tate Modern, and street performers who bring this arts-focused neighborhood to life. End the day with a festive farewell dinner, reflecting on your time on stage in London.
