February 15: Arenal Volcano & La Fortuna Waterfall | San Carlos

Spend a full day discovering the natural wonders of the Arenal region! Begin with a guided hike in Arenal Volcano National Park, exploring forest trails and learning how volcanic activity has shaped the landscape. Look for local wildlife and enjoy views of the volcano.

Later, visit La Fortuna Waterfall, where a staircase leads through lush forest to a spectacular cascade. Take in the scenery and enjoy an opportunity to swim in designated areas as conditions permit. Before returning to your hotel, spend some time exploring La Fortuna’s town center.

February 16: Cultural Exchange & Cloud Forest Exploration | Monteverde

Today, travel toward the beautiful cloud forests of Monteverde. Along the way or upon arrival, visit a local school for a cultural exchange with Costa Rican students. Connect through games, soccer, and conversations while learning about daily life and education in Costa Rica.

Later, experience the cloud forest from above on a guided hanging bridges tour, offering views of the canopy and opportunities to spot wildlife. Tonight, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on Costa Rican cooking class, preparing traditional dishes and learning about local ingredients.

February 17: Little Home Visit & Ziplining | Monteverde

This morning, visit a Little Home, a residential home for children ranging from infants to approximately 12 years old. Meet the caregivers and learn how the home supports the children in its care, along with the broader systems that help protect children in Costa Rica. Spend time with the children through age-appropriate games, stories, and activities arranged by the staff, respecting their privacy and daily routines.

This afternoon, take your adventure to new heights with an exciting zipline experience through the cloud forest canopy. Glide through the treetops before returning to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Depart Monteverde early and travel toward Manuel Antonio on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Upon arrival, enjoy time at the beach to relax, play beach soccer, and swim as conditions permit.

Later, board a catamaran for a scenic cruise along the coastline! Take in views of forested hills and beaches while keeping an eye out for dolphins, sea turtles, and other marine life and go swimming or snorkeling before returning to shore.

February 19: Manuel Antonio National Park & Beach Day

Enjoy a full day exploring the Manuel Antonio area! Begin with a guided nature walk through Manuel Antonio National Park, where rainforest trails offer opportunities to spot monkeys, sloths, and colorful birds.
