Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Bon Voyage!

Your adventure begins as you board an overnight flight to the Eternal City—Rome! Rest up, because an exciting journey awaits.

Day 2 – Welcome to Rome!

Benvenuti in Italy! After landing in Rome, collect your luggage, clear customs, and meet your expert local Program Director. Hop on a private motor coach and head to your centrally located hotel. After check-in, stretch your legs on a guided orientation walk, getting your first taste of the city’s vibrant energy. This evening, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner with your fellow travelers.

Day 3 – Ancient Rome & Gladiator Training

Step back in time with a guided tour of ancient Rome. Walk through the legendary Roman Forum and marvel at the Colosseum, where gladiators once battled before crowds of up to 87,000 spectators. In the afternoon, channel your inner warrior with a hands-on Gladiator Games experience at Castrum Legionis—suit up in authentic gear and train like a true Roman fighter! As night falls, explore Rome’s illuminated wonders, including the Pantheon and lively Piazza Navona.

Day 4 – Vatican City & Pizza Making

Today, step into the world’s smallest country—Vatican City! A local guide will lead you through the awe-inspiring Saint Peter’s Basilica, Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican Gardens. In the evening, roll up your sleeves for an interactive pizza-making class, where you’ll learn the secrets of Italy’s favorite dish and enjoy your homemade masterpiece for dinner. Afterward, toss a coin into the iconic Trevi Fountain and relax at the Spanish Steps.

Day 5 – Florence: The Birthplace of the Renaissance

Say goodbye to Rome and travel north to Florence, the jewel of the Renaissance. Follow a local guide through the city’s artistic and architectural wonders, from the breathtaking Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral to the stunning Baptistry Doors by Ghiberti. Stroll through Santa Croce, where Michelangelo is buried, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Piazza della Signoria. Spend the afternoon indulging in Florence’s charming markets, artisan shops, and world-famous gelato.

Day 6 – Tuscany’s Timeless Beauty

Escape into the rolling hills of Tuscany with a day trip to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its medieval skyline and historic charm. Wander through the Duomo di San Gimignano, adorned with stunning frescoes, and enjoy free time to explore Piazza della Cisterna, lined with cafés and artisan boutiques. In the afternoon, return to Florence for a visit to the renowned Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo’s David, one of the most iconic sculptures in history.

Day 7 – Venice: The Floating City

Journey to the enchanting canals of Venice, often called the “Queen of the Adriatic.” Spend the afternoon wandering its labyrinth of bridges and alleyways, stopping at the Rialto Bridge for spectacular views. Then, experience the magic of Venice from the water with a classic gondola ride, drifting past centuries-old palazzos and charming waterways.

Day 8 – Venice Through the Eyes of Marco Polo

Today, dive into the world of Venice’s most legendary explorer—Marco Polo. Begin at St. Mark’s Square, where Venice’s history as a trade empire comes alive. See the stunning St. Mark’s Basilica, and hear tales of Venice’s past as a gateway between East and West. Then, retrace Polo’s footsteps through hidden alleys and past bustling markets before crossing the iconic Rialto Bridge, once the heart of Venice’s commerce. In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner, celebrating the unforgettable experiences and friendships made along the way.

Day 9 – Arrivederci, Italia!

With hearts full of memories, transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Until next time, Italy!
