Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure Day

Your London theatre adventure begins! Depart for the United Kingdom with your group, ready to immerse yourself in one of the world’s great performing arts capitals. As you board your overnight flight, imagine the historic stages, rehearsal studios, and iconic West End theatres you’ll soon experience firsthand.

Day 2 – Arrival in London & West End Welcome

Welcome to London! Upon arrival, meet your Program Director and transfer to your centrally located hotel in the heart of the city. After settling in, head out on an orientation walk through Covent Garden, Leicester Square, and the vibrant West End. Pass legendary theatre venues, see marquee lights glowing above the streets, and feel the energy of London’s performing arts scene. This evening, enjoy a traditional British welcome dinner as you begin your journey in one of the world’s most exciting cultural capitals.

Day 3 – London Landmarks & First West End Show

Begin the day with a guided tour of London’s iconic landmarks, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and Piccadilly Circus. Learn how centuries of history, monarchy, and culture have shaped London into a global artistic hub. After time to explore and grab lunch, prepare for an unforgettable evening in the West End. Tonight, attend your first West End performance, experiencing world-class theatre in one of London’s historic theaters!

Day 4 – Shakespeare’s Globe & South Bank Arts Scene

Step into the world of Shakespeare with a visit to the iconic Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Participate in a hands-on acting workshop led by Globe professionals, focusing on voice, movement, and bringing text to life. After exploring the exhibition space, enjoy time along London’s vibrant South Bank, home to the National Theatre, Tate Modern, and countless street performers who bring the riverfront to life. This evening, attend an additional live performance whether at the National Theatre, a respected fringe venue, or another acclaimed London stage, offering exposure to a different theatrical style and artistic voice.

Day 5 – Tower of London, Borough Market & Theatre Workshop

This morning, explore the historic Tower of London, where stories of royalty, intrigue, and dramatic power struggles unfold, a reminder that history itself can feel theatrical. Walk the ancient walls, view the Crown Jewels, and imagine the real-life drama that shaped Britain’s past. Afterward, head to nearby Borough Market for lunch, where students can explore global food stalls and soak in the lively atmosphere of one of London’s oldest markets. In the afternoon, dive deeper into the craft with an interactive theatre workshop led by London-based professionals. Focus areas may include musical theatre choreography, audition technique, stage combat, ensemble storytelling, or devised theatre creation, giving students hands-on experience and practical tools from working artists.

Day 6 – Behind the Scenes & Second West End Show

Go behind the curtain with a backstage theatre tour at a historic London venue such as the Royal Opera House or another working theatre. Learn how lighting design, costume departments, set construction, and stage management come together to create world-class productions. After take some time to explore Soho and Covent Garden, and have dinner before attending your second West End show. With multiple productions now experienced, students will have the opportunity to compare genres, staging styles, performance techniques, and artistic direction, deepening their understanding of live theatre at a professional level.

Day 7 – Departure Day

Transfer to the airport for your return flight home, carrying unforgettable performances, new friendships, and the inspiration that comes from studying theatre in one of the world’s most iconic theatre capitals.
