Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Departure

Begin your journey with an overnight flight to London.

Day 2 - Arrival in London

Arrive in London and transfer by private motor coach to your centrally located hotel. Later, enjoy an orientation walk around iconic spots like Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus. In the evening, savor a classic “fish and chips” dinner, followed by a stroll through the lively Covent Garden.

Day 3 - Exploring London

Today, take a guided tour of London, visiting landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Hyde Park, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace (and catch the Changing of the Guard if available). Later, meet with a former British Ambassador for an insightful discussion on peace and diplomacy. After dinner, enjoy a West End show!

Day 4 - History in London

Step back in time with a visit to the Churchill War Rooms, the secret underground bunker where Winston Churchill directed WWII efforts. Later, tour the Tower of London with a Beefeater guide, learning about the Yeomen Warders who protect the Crown Jewels and the palace.

Day 5 - London to Paris

Travel to Paris aboard the high-speed Eurostar train. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of key Parisian sights such as the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, and the Opera House. In the afternoon, ascend the Eiffel Tower for breathtaking views. End the day with an evening stroll through the artistic neighborhood of Montmartre.

Day 6 - Versailles and Paris by Night

This morning, visit the Palace of Versailles to experience the opulence of Louis XIV’s court and explore the gardens. Return to Paris for an impressionist art lesson, then cap off the evening with a Seine River cruise to see the City of Light in all its nighttime splendor.

Day 7 - Normandy and Amiens

Head to Normandy for a day dedicated to WWII history. Walk the D-Day beaches, visit the American Cemetery, and tour the D-Day Museum to see exhibits on the Allied invasion. Continue to Amiens, where you’ll take a guided walking tour of this historic city. See the breathtaking Amiens Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its towering Gothic architecture and intricate stone carvings. Stroll through the peaceful Hortillonnages, a network of floating gardens and canals, and visit St. Leu, the picturesque old town with charming cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and riverside cafes.

Day 8 - Journey to Amsterdam

Travel to The Netherlands, stopping first in Kinderdijk for a scenic bike ride among 18th-century windmills. Then, continue to Amsterdam, check into your hotel, and experience the city from the water with a nighttime canal cruise.

Day 9 - Discovering Amsterdam

Start the day with a guided tour of Amsterdam, including a visit to the Anne Frank House to see the annex where Anne and her family hid during WWII. Later, explore the Bloemenmarkt, the world’s only floating flower market, and enjoy shopping among its vendors. After dinner, take in more sights of the city by night on a canal cruise.

Day 10 - Departure

Transfer by private motor coach to Amsterdam airport for your return flight home.
