Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure from Hawaii
Depart on your overnight flight from Hawaii for the bright lights of New York City!
Day 2 – Arrival in New York City & Times Square
Welcome to New York City! Upon arrival, transfer to your centrally located Midtown hotel and settle in. After time to freshen up, step into the electric energy of Times Square for your first introduction to the city that never sleeps. Experience one iconic Times Square attraction before gathering for a welcome dinner nearby. This first evening sets the tone for an immersive week of culture, performance, and exploration in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
Day 3 – Rockefeller Center & Broadway
Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Rockefeller Center for a behind-the-scenes tour of Radio City Music Hall. Learn about the history of this legendary venue and the performers who have graced its stage. Ascend to Top of the Rock for panoramic views across Manhattan, then explore St. Patrick’s Cathedral and enjoy time along Fifth Avenue. After dinner, attend a Broadway performance — experiencing live theater at the highest level in the heart of the Theater District.
Day 4 – Liberty, Resilience & Lower Manhattan
After breakfast, travel by ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, exploring themes of immigration, opportunity, and the American story. Continue to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum for a powerful and reflective experience honoring resilience and remembrance. Explore Lower Manhattan and the Financial District before heading to Little Italy for dinner at Puglia’s. An evening stroll through the neighborhood offers a glimpse into New York’s vibrant cultural heritage.
Day 5 – Central Park & Broadway Workshop
Start the morning with a guided walk through Central Park, discovering how this urban oasis was designed and how it shapes daily life in the city. In the afternoon, participate in an interactive Broadway workshop led by industry professionals, gaining firsthand insight into performance techniques and stagecraft. After dinner, visit Times Square, soaking in the city’s nighttime energy.
Day 6 – Arts & Culture in Manhattan
Today focuses on New York’s world-class cultural institutions. Begin with a tour of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, home to some of the most prestigious artistic organizations in the world. Continue to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where students explore masterworks spanning centuries and cultures.
Day 7 – Carnegie Hall & Midtown Icons
After breakfast, tour Carnegie Hall, one of the most renowned music venues in the world. Learn about the artists who have performed here and the building’s architectural and musical legacy. Enjoy free time in Midtown for shopping or independent exploration before visiting the Empire State Building for sweeping skyline views. Conclude the program with a celebratory farewell dinner, reflecting on the week’s artistic and cultural experiences.
Day 8 – Departure
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for departure. Students return home with a deeper appreciation for New York City’s history, arts, and cultural influence — and with lasting memories of shared experiences in one of the world’s greatest cities.
