Day 1: Departure Day

Your winter adventure begins! Depart Atlanta with your group, heading to the heart of Europe for a journey filled with alpine landscapes, historic cities, and unforgettable winter experiences.

Day 2: Arrival in Switzerland & Welcome to Lucerne

Welcome to Switzerland! Arrive in Zurich and transfer to the beautiful lakeside city of Lucerne, set against a stunning alpine backdrop. After settling into your accommodations, head out to explore Lucerne’s Old Town. Enjoy a welcome dinner with your group to kick off your Alpine Adventure!

Day 3: Swiss History, Culture & Folklore in Lucerne

Start the day with a guided walking tour of Lucerne, exploring the city’s medieval streets and landmarks. Highlights include the Chapel Bridge and Water Tower, as well as the Lion Monument, a powerful symbol tied to Swiss history and the Swiss Guard. In the afternoon, enjoy time for shopping at local stores and markets, along with a stop at a café to enjoy classic Swiss hot chocolate. In the evening, experience a Swiss folklore dinner featuring traditional music, regional dress, and local cuisine—an entertaining and memorable introduction to Swiss cultural traditions.

Day 4: Travel to Innsbruck, Austria

After breakfast, travel east into Austria and arrive in Innsbruck, a historic alpine city surrounded by towering peaks. Spend the afternoon exploring Innsbruck’s Old Town, visiting the famous Golden Roof and strolling along Maria-Theresien-Strasse. This evening, enjoy dinner and get settled in for your time in the Austrian Alps.

Day 5: Ski Day in the Austrian Alps

Head into the Austrian Alps for your first full day on the mountain. Spend the day skiing and enjoying the alpine environment, surrounded by dramatic winter scenery. After a full day outdoors, return to Innsbruck for the evening.

Day 6: Ski Day Two & Farewell in the Alps

Return to the mountains for a second day of skiing in the Austrian Alps. With another full day on the slopes, students have the chance to build confidence and fully enjoy this classic alpine experience. In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner in Innsbruck to celebrate your time in the Alps.

Day 7: Travel to Munich & Explore Germany

Travel north into Germany and arrive in Munich, one of Europe’s great historic cities. Spend the afternoon exploring Munich’s city center, including Marienplatz, the Frauenkirche, and the Viktualienmarkt. Enjoy your final group dinner in Munich as the program comes to a close.

Day 8: Departure Day

Say goodbye to Europe and depart Munich for your return flight home, bringing back incredible memories from your winter journey through Switzerland, Austria, and Germany.
