Day by Day Itinerary

Tuesday, June 1, 2027 – Aloha, Hawai‘i! Arrival in Honolulu

Your journey begins in paradise as you arrive in Honolulu, where warm ocean breezes, swaying palms, and the spirit of aloha welcome you to Hawai‘i. Upon arrival, meet your Program Director and transfer to your hotel in vibrant Waikīkī!

After time to settle in and recharge, gather as a group for your first dinner together—an island-style welcome featuring fresh local ingredients and the bold, tropical flavors that define Hawaiian cuisine.

As the sun begins to set, take a relaxed evening walk along iconic Waikīkī Beach. Feel the soft sand underfoot, listen to the rhythm of the waves, and take in your first unforgettable Hawaiian sunset. This is just the beginning of your island adventure.

Wednesday, June 2, 2027 – History, Ocean Adventure & Hawaiian Culture

Begin your day with breakfast before heading to one of the most important historic sites in the United States—Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Through powerful exhibits, personal stories, and artifacts, gain a deeper understanding of the events of December 7, 1941 and their lasting global impact. Continue to the legendary USS Missouri, where World War II officially came to an end, standing on the very deck where history was made.

This afternoon, shift into full island mode as you head to Secret Island, a hidden gem on Oʻahu’s windward coast. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and dramatic mountain backdrops, spend the afternoon swimming or simply relaxing on the beach.

As the day winds down, enjoy a laid-back beachside BBQ dinner, sharing great food and even better views as the sun dips behind the mountains.

In the evening, step into Hawaiian tradition with a beginner hula lesson. More than just dance, hula is storytelling—learn the meaning behind the movements and gain insight into the cultural traditions that have been passed down for generations.

Thursday, June 3, 2027 – North Shore Adventure & Polynesian Traditions

After breakfast, set out to explore Oʻahu’s famed North Shore, known for its rugged beauty, towering waves, and laid-back surf culture. Along the way, stop at scenic lookouts to take in sweeping views of turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs, and some of the island’s most iconic coastline.

Continue to the Dole Plantation, where you’ll learn about Hawai‘i’s agricultural history and the global story of pineapple cultivation. Explore the grounds, browse local products, and cool off with the famous Dole Whip—a must-try island treat.

This afternoon, travel to the renowned Polynesian Cultural Center, where you’ll experience the cultures of the Pacific in an immersive, hands-on way. Journey through island villages representing Hawai‘i, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, and Aotearoa (New Zealand). Engage with local artisans, try traditional activities, and watch live demonstrations that bring each culture to life.

Enjoy an included island-style dinner before the evening’s highlight: HĀ: Breath of Life, a breathtaking theatrical performance that tells a powerful Polynesian story through music, dance, and dramatic fire knife performances. It’s an unforgettable celebration of culture, identity, and storytelling.

Friday, June 4, 2027 – University Experience, Diamond Head & Departure

After breakfast, check out and begin your final day in Hawai‘i with a unique academic experience at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Participate in a private, hands-on educational clinic led by university faculty—an opportunity to learn in a collegiate setting, engage with experts, and deepen your understanding through interactive instruction.

Next, set out for an unforgettable hike up Diamond Head, one of Oʻahu’s most iconic landmarks. As you ascend this volcanic crater, take in panoramic views that stretch across Waikīkī, the Pacific Ocean, and the island beyond. Reaching the summit is both a rewarding challenge and a perfect way to reflect on your time in Hawai‘i.

Time permitting, enjoy a final stop at Ala Moana Center for shopping and last-minute souvenirs before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.

You’ll leave Hawai‘i not just with incredible memories, but with a deeper appreciation for its history, culture, and natural beauty—and the shared experiences that made this journey unforgettable.
