October 31st: Departure Day

Depart Denver for Paris, France!

November 1st: Welcome to Paris

Arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport, where you’ll meet your local Program Director and transfer to your centrally located hotel. After checking in and taking time to settle, head out on a neighborhood orientation walk.

Become familiar with the area surrounding your hotel while enjoying your first glimpse of Parisian streets, cafés, and architecture.

This evening, gather for a welcome dinner before boarding a Seine River cruise. See Paris illuminated from the water as you pass many of the city’s celebrated monuments and historic bridges.

November 2nd: Paris Highlights, Impressionist Workshop & Musée d’Orsay

Begin your day with a guided walking tour through the historic heart of Paris. See Notre-Dame Cathedral and explore the lively Latin Quarter while learning about the people, ideas, and events that shaped the French capital.

Continue with a hands-on Impressionist painting workshop inspired by the artists who transformed the art world in 19th-century Paris. Experiment with their techniques and create a work of your own.

Later, visit the Musée d’Orsay, home to an extraordinary collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art. Discover masterpieces by Monet, Renoir, Degas, Van Gogh, Cézanne, and other influential artists.

Enjoy dinner together before visiting Place du Trocadéro, where you’ll have an unforgettable view of the Eiffel Tower sparkling across the Seine.

November 3rd: Paris School Visit & Montmartre

Begin the day with a cultural exchange at a local school. Meet French students, learn about their classes and daily routines, and gain insight into education and student life in Paris.

This afternoon, enjoy free time to continue experiencing the French capital. Take in the atmosphere of the city, browse local shops, or spend time exploring with your Program Director.

This evening, visit Montmartre, the iconic hilltop artists’ district known for its winding streets, creative history, and distinctive atmosphere. Conclude the day with dinner at a traditional French bistro.

November 4th: Fly to Madrid & Tapas Dinner

Transfer to the airport and board your flight to Madrid. Upon arrival at Madrid-Barajas Airport, meet your local team and transfer to your centrally located hotel.

After settling in, explore the charming streets of Old Madrid and visit Plaza Mayor, the city’s grand central square surrounded by centuries-old architecture. Continue to beautiful Retiro Park, one of Madrid’s most beloved gathering places.

This evening, enjoy a traditional tapas dinner before ending the night with churros con chocolate at the famed Chocolatería San Ginés.

November 5th: Madrid Highlights, Prado Museum & Paella Cooking Class

Begin your day with a guided tour through Madrid’s historic plazas, elegant boulevards, and celebrated landmarks. Learn how the city developed from a royal capital into one of Europe’s most vibrant cultural centers.

Continue to the renowned Prado Museum, home to one of the world’s most important collections of European art. See masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, El Greco, and other influential artists while learning how their work reflects Spain’s history, culture, and royal heritage.

This evening, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on paella cooking class. Learn about the ingredients and traditions behind one of Spain’s most famous dishes before sitting down together to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared.

November 6th: Madrid School Visit

Spend the morning visiting a local school for a meaningful cultural exchange. Meet Spanish students, experience daily classroom life, and learn about the similarities and differences between education in Spain and the United States.

This afternoon, enjoy free time to experience Madrid at your own pace. Browse local shops, relax in one of the city’s lively plazas, or continue exploring with your Program Director. Gather this evening for a farewell dinner.

November 7th: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Madrid-Barajas Airport for your return flight home.
