Day 1: Departure — Flight to Paris

Your adventure begins as you board your overnight flight to Paris. Settle in, relax, and get excited for the unforgettable journey ahead!

Day 2: Arrival in Paris

Arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport and meet your local Program Director before transferring to your centrally located hotel. After settling in, head out for a neighborhood orientation walk to get acquainted with your surroundings. Enjoy a welcome dinner together and end the night with a stunning Seine River cruise as Paris lights up around you.

Day 3: Paris Highlights, Impressionist Workshop & Musée d’Orsay

Start your day with a guided walking tour that brings you to some of Paris’s most beloved landmarks, including Notre-Dame Cathedral and the lively Latin Quarter. Continue with a hands-on Impressionist painting workshop, then explore masterpieces by Monet, Renoir, Degas, Van Gogh, Cézanne, and more at the Musée d’Orsay. In the evening, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city—including the Eiffel Tower—from the Montparnasse Tower.

Day 4: Versailles, School Visit & Montmartre

Begin your morning with a cultural exchange during a school visit, connecting with French students and learning about daily life in Paris. Then travel by train to the Palace of Versailles, where you’ll wander through the Hall of Mirrors, the royal apartments, and the beautifully manicured gardens. Return to the city for an evening in Montmartre, the iconic artists’ district, and enjoy dinner at a traditional French bistro.

Day 5: Fly to Spain — Welcome to Madrid

Fly from Paris to Madrid in the morning and transfer to your centrally located hotel. Once you’ve settled in, explore Old Madrid and Plaza Mayor on an orientation walk. Spend time enjoying Retiro Park before gathering for a tapas dinner, followed by a sweet stop for churros con chocolate at the famed Chocolatería San Ginés.

Day 6: Madrid Highlights, Prado Museum & Paella Cooking Class

Discover the heart of Madrid on a guided tour of its plazas, boulevards, and historic sites. Then visit the renowned Prado Museum to see works by Velázquez, Goya, and El Greco. In the evening, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on paella cooking class and enjoy the meal you prepare together.

Day 7: School Visit & Bernabéu Stadium Tour

Start the day with a school visit, where you’ll meet Spanish students and experience local classroom life. In the afternoon, step inside the world of Real Madrid during a behind-the-scenes tour of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, including the players’ tunnel, locker rooms, and interactive exhibits.

Day 8: Toledo Day Trip & Farewell Dinner

Travel to the historic city of Toledo for a guided day trip that showcases its rich blend of cultures and architectural styles. Visit the Gothic Cathedral, the Santa María la Blanca synagogue, and view El Greco’s famous painting The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. Return to Madrid for a special farewell dinner to celebrate your journey.

Day 9: Departure

Transfer to Madrid-Barajas Airport for your flight home to Denver.
