Day by Day Itinerary

March 19 – Departure Day!

Depart from New York on your overnight flight to Prague, Czech Republic, a city known for its fairytale architecture and centuries of history. Get ready for two exciting weeks of cultural discovery and adventure across four European countries!

March 20 – Welcome to Prague

Arrive in Prague, often called “The City of a Hundred Spires.” Meet your Program Director and enjoy lunch before exploring the charming streets of Wenceslas Square and Old Town, where Gothic, Baroque, and Art Nouveau styles blend beautifully. In the evening, enjoy your first Czech meal and get to know your fellow travelers during a welcome dinner.

March 21 – Exploring Prague’s Old Town

Join your guide for a walking tour of Old Town Prague, filled with cobblestone streets and colorful buildings that survived centuries of change. See the Astronomical Clock, one of the oldest working clocks in the world, and walk across the famous Charles Bridge, lined with historic statues. Explore the Jewish Quarter, learning about Prague’s deep cultural and religious history.

March 22 – Prague Castle & Cultural Highlights

Visit Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the seat of Czech kings for over a thousand years. Tour St. Vitus Cathedral and stroll along the Golden Lane, once home to medieval craftsmen and writers. This afternoon, enjoy panoramic views of the city from the castle hill before relaxing over a traditional Czech dinner.

March 23 – Travel to Berlin

Say goodbye to the Czech Republic and travel by private coach or train to Berlin, Germany. Upon arrival, get your first glimpse of this modern capital known for its art, architecture, and dynamic energy. Take an orientation walk before dinner to see how Berlin blends its powerful past with a forward-looking spirit.

March 24– Berlin: A City Rebuilt

Discover Berlin’s dramatic history on a guided city tour. Visit the Brandenburg Gate, once a symbol of division and now one of unity. See remnants of the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Memorial, and Checkpoint Charlie, learning how the city was divided during the Cold War. In the afternoon, experience the city’s creative side in neighborhoods filled with street art and music.

March 25 – Hamburg: Germany’s Port City

Travel north to Hamburg, one of Europe’s largest port cities. On a walking tour, explore Speicherstadt, the world’s largest warehouse district and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its canals and red-brick architecture. Learn how Hamburg’s maritime heritage shaped Germany’s economy and culture.

March 26-28 – Løgumkloster, Denmark

In the afternoon, cross into Denmark and travel to the town of Løgumkloster, where your group will begin its school homestay exchange. You’ll be welcomed by your Danish partner school and host families—an incredible opportunity to experience everyday life in another culture firsthand. (All homestay arrangements handled by the host school)

March 29 – Travel to Copenhagen

Say farewell to your hosts and travel to Copenhagen, Denmark’s charming capital city. After settling into your hotel, take a stroll through the colorful canal district of Nyhavn, lined with cafés and historic sailboats. End the evening with a cozy Danish dinner together.

March 30 – Discovering Copenhagen

Join a guided city tour of Copenhagen. See the iconic Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale. Learn how Denmark’s focus on design, sustainability, and quality of life makes it one of the world’s happiest countries.

March 31 – Excursion to Malmö, Sweden

Cross the impressive Øresund Bridge—one of Europe’s longest—for a day trip to Malmö, Sweden. Discover Stortorget Square, stroll through local markets, and enjoy time to shop for Scandinavian souvenirs. In the evening, return to Copenhagen for a festive farewell dinner, celebrating your unforgettable journey through four amazing countries.

April 1 – Return to New York

Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Reflect on the new friendships, cultures, and global perspectives you’ve gained during your European adventure—memories that will last a lifetime.
