Day 1: Arrival in Quebec City & Introduction to French-Canadian Culture

Arrive in Quebec City and settle into your hotel. Begin your journey with a guided walking tour of Old Quebec, where you’ll explore the historic cobblestone streets and learn about the region’s French colonial history. Visit iconic landmarks like Château Frontenac and the fortified city walls. In the evening, dive into French-Canadian culture with a fun, hands-on poutine-making workshop, where you’ll create and taste this iconic dish while learning about its cultural significance.

Day 2: Outdoor Adventure, Snowshoeing & Cirque Workshop

Start your day with a winter wonderland adventure at Montmorency Falls. Strap on your snowshoes and embark on a guided trek, learning about the unique winter ecology and the history of the falls. After lunch, head back to the city for a unique Cirque du Soleil-style workshop, where you’ll learn the basics of circus arts, such as acrobatics and balance techniques, while building confidence and teamwork. Finish the day with an interactive French language scavenger hunt through Old Quebec, using clues written in French to practice your language skills.

Day 3: History Comes Alive at the Plains of Abraham & Cultural Immersion

Start the day with a visit to the Plains of Abraham, a pivotal site in Canadian history. Participate in a hands-on educational program that brings to life the famous battle between French and British forces during the Seven Years’ War. You’ll explore the battlefield and engage in interactive role-playing activities that teach military strategies from the time. In the evening, immerse yourself in Québécois culture at a traditional cabane à sucre (sugar shack). Learn about maple syrup production, make taffy on snow, and enjoy live folk music while participating in fun winter activities.

On your final day, visit the Musée du Fort for an engaging multimedia presentation about Quebec City’s fortifications and key historical battles. Afterward, explore the museum exhibits and ask any lingering questions.
