Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure Day

Your Italian journey begins as you board an overnight flight to Rome, looking ahead to days filled with art, history, cuisine, and cultural discovery.

Day 2 – Welcome to Rome

Arrive in Rome and meet your Travel Director at the airport before transferring to your centrally located hotel. After settling in, enjoy an orientation walk through the surrounding neighborhood to begin getting a feel for the Eternal City. In the evening, gather for a welcome dinner at a local trattoria, the perfect introduction to Italian hospitality and cuisine.

Day 3 – Ancient Rome

Step back in time with a guided tour of Ancient Rome, including visits to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, where you’ll learn about daily life, politics, and engineering in the Roman Empire. The afternoon is free to explore Rome at your own pace—visit a museum, relax in a piazza, or wander historic streets. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day 4 – Vatican City & Rome by Night

Begin the day with a guided visit to Vatican City, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. After free time in the afternoon to shop, relax, or explore additional sites, reconvene for a group dinner. In the evening, enjoy a “Rome by Night” walking tour featuring illuminated landmarks such as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Trevi Fountain.

Day 5 – Florence: The Renaissance City

Travel north to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. A guided walking tour introduces the city’s artistic and architectural highlights, including the Duomo, Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, and the Accademia Museum, home to Michelangelo’s David. The afternoon is free to explore Florence’s street markets, cafés, and shops. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day 6 – Tuscan Farm Experience & Lucca

Venture into the Tuscan countryside to visit a family-run organic farm. Learn about sustainable agriculture and take part in a hands-on farm-to-table cooking class, followed by lunch and a wine tasting. Continue on to the walled city of Lucca, where you’ll have free time to stroll the cobblestone streets, shop, or enjoy gelato. This evening, gather for a group dinner in the Tuscany area.

Day 7 – San Gimignano & Tuscan Vineyard

Travel by train to the medieval hill town of San Gimignano, known for its iconic towers and sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Explore artisan shops and historic streets before visiting a Tuscan vineyard for a guided wine tasting. Return to Florence in the late afternoon. Dinner is on your own.

Day 8 – Journey to Venice

Depart Florence for Venice by high-speed train or private motorcoach. After settling into your hotel, enjoy one of Venice’s most iconic experiences—a gondola ride through the city’s canals. The evening is free to dine on your own.

Day 9 – Venice Sightseeing & Farewell Dinner

Discover Venice on a guided walking tour, including St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Rialto Bridge. The afternoon is free to explore independently—wander quiet neighborhoods, shop, or relax along the canals. In the evening, come together for a farewell dinner to celebrate your Italian journey.

Day 10 – Departure from Venice

Transfer to Venice Marco Polo Airport for your return flight home, departing with unforgettable memories of Italy’s cities, landscapes, and culture.
