Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Overnight Flight
Board your overnight flight bound for Málaga, Spain!

Day 2 - Seville
Arrive into Málaga, meet your local Program Director and transfer to Seville! Later today, start exploring on an orientation walking tour of the city. In the evening enjoy your first dinner in Spain!

Day 3 - Seville
This morning, take your first “Spanish in-Action” lesson, during a guided walking tour in Spanish of the main cultural highlights of Seville. You will visit sights, such as Plaza de España, the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. You will also have the opportunity to ascend La Giralda, the bell tower of the Seville cathedral to admire wonderful views of the city. Tonight, enjoy a traditional tapas dinner!

Day 4 - Seville
Today, take a train to Córdoba, where you will explore the Mezquita, a stunning mosque-cathredral, take a walk through the historic Jewish Quarter, and visit the Roman Bridge. Later, check out the vibrant city squares, like Plaza del Porto, and find the perfect spot for lunch and shopping! Return to Seville for dinner.

Day 5 - Seville
Today, is your next “Spanish in-Action” lesson, as you visit a local food market and practice your everyday Spanish as you learn to barter, order and buy food to create a meal that you will share at a group picnic for lunch (Please note today, money will be given to the students to buy lunch as part of their Spanish lesson, and dinner will not be included). Later, enjoy your picnic lunch at a park while you practice your conversational Spanish with your Program Director and teachers. This afternoon enjoy kayaking along the beautiful River Guadalquivir!

Day 6 - Seville
Today, take a day excursion by train to Itálica. You will visit the well-preserved Roman ruins, including the amphitheater, which is one fo the largest from the Roman Empire. Later, take a walk along the Decumanus Maximus to see all of the archaeological wonders of this ancient city! Return to Seville for dinner!

Day 7 - Seville
For your next “Spanish in-Action” lesson, you’ll spend the morning with local peers at their school to practice your conversational Spanish, learn about the Spanish education system, and learn what it’s like to be a teen in Seville! Later today, take an interactive flamenco dance class, followed by a traditional flamenco show and dinner!

Day 8 - Seville
Today, you will have a free day to explore more of Seville, shop for souvenirs to remember your time in Seville, check out some local cafes and parks! Tonight, for your final “Spanish in-Action” lesson, you will take an interactive cooking class in Spanish, and in small groups, learn to work together in Spanish, and create your own traditional Spanish dinner!

Day 9 - Departure Day
Transfer to the Malaga airport for your return flight home.
