Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Overnight Flight

Board your overnight flight to Málaga, Spain, ready to embark on an exciting journey!

Day 2 – Arrival in Seville

Arrive in Málaga and meet your local Program Director. Transfer to Seville, where you’ll begin exploring with an orientation walking tour of the city’s highlights. In the evening, enjoy your first dinner in Spain.

Day 3 – Seville Highlights & “Spanish in Action” Lesson

Start your day with your first “Spanish in Action” lesson—a guided walking tour in Spanish that takes you through Seville’s cultural landmarks. Visit the Plaza de España, the Seville Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. You’ll also climb La Giralda, the bell tower of the cathedral, for panoramic views of the city. In the evening, savor a traditional tapas dinner.

Day 4 – Excursion to Córdoba

Take a train to Córdoba and explore the stunning Mezquita, a historic mosque-cathedral. Wander through the charming Jewish Quarter and cross the ancient Roman Bridge. Afterward, visit Córdoba’s lively squares, like Plaza del Potro, and enjoy lunch and shopping before returning to Seville for dinner.

Day 5 – Spanish Market Adventure & Kayaking

Today’s “Spanish in Action” lesson takes you to a local food market, where you’ll practice your Spanish by bartering and ordering ingredients for a group picnic. You’ll receive money to buy your lunch as part of this immersive lesson. After your picnic in the park, enjoy kayaking along the scenic River Guadalquivir. (Note: Lunch is included; dinner will not be provided today.)

Day 6 – Day Trip to Itálica

Travel by train to Itálica, where you’ll explore well-preserved Roman ruins, including one of the largest amphitheaters of the Roman Empire. Walk the ancient Decumanus Maximus and admire the archaeological treasures of this historic city.

Day 7 – School Visit & Flamenco Experience

For your next “Spanish in Action” lesson, spend the morning at a local school with Spanish peers. Practice conversational Spanish, learn about the Spanish education system, and experience life as a teen in Seville. Later, take an interactive flamenco dance class, followed by a captivating flamenco performance and dinner.

Day 8 – Free Day & Spanish Cooking Class

Today is a free day to explore Seville at your own pace. Shop for souvenirs, visit local cafes, or relax in one of the city’s beautiful parks. In the evening, your final “Spanish in Action” lesson will be an interactive cooking class, where you’ll work in small groups to prepare a traditional Spanish dinner using your newfound Spanish language skills.

Day 9 – Departure

Transfer to Málaga Airport for your return flight home, bringing with you memories of your immersive Spanish adventure.
