Itinerary

Walk the Freedom Trail

Arrive in Boston and step back in time on a guided walking tour of the city’s iconic Freedom Trail. Follow the famous 2.5-mile red brick path through downtown Boston as you visit many of the sites that played a pivotal role in the American Revolution. Highlights include Boston Common, the Massachusetts State House, King’s Chapel, the Old South Meeting House, the Old State House, the site of the Boston Massacre, Faneuil Hall, and Quincy Market. Along the way, your guide will bring history to life with stories of the people and events that shaped our nation.

Lunch & Explore Faneuil Hall Marketplace

Enjoy lunch at the historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace, one of Boston’s most popular gathering places for over 275 years. After lunch, take time to browse the unique shops of Quincy Market, watch talented street performers, and soak in the lively atmosphere of this historic district.

Boston Public Garden & Back Bay

This afternoon, explore the beautiful Boston Public Garden, America’s first public botanical garden. Wander along its picturesque pathways, admire the seasonal flower displays, and enjoy views of the famous Swan Boats gliding across the lagoon. Continue into Boston’s elegant Back Bay neighborhood, where you’ll stroll past Victorian brownstones, tree-lined streets, and historic landmarks before enjoying free time to explore the boutiques and cafés along Newbury Street.

View Boston or Behind-the-Scenes at Fenway Park

Choose between two unforgettable Boston experiences. Take in spectacular 360-degree views from View Boston, the city’s premier observation deck atop the Prudential Center, where interactive exhibits showcase Boston’s neighborhoods and history. Or, go behind the scenes at legendary Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, and explore one of America’s most iconic ballparks while learning about its rich baseball history.

Farewell Dinner

Celebrate an incredible day together with a group dinner at a local restaurant in Boston’s Back Bay before departing for the journey home to Darien, bringing with you a deeper appreciation of Boston’s history, culture, and vibrant city life.
