Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Get ready for an unforgettable journey through Greece, where ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and crystal-clear waters await! From exploring the Acropolis in Athens to watching the sunset in Santorini, wandering medieval towns in Crete, and relaxing on pristine beaches, this itinerary is packed with adventure, culture, and plenty of fun.

Day 1: Departure – Off to Greece!

Board your overnight flight to Athens, where a legendary journey through history and paradise begins!

Day 2: Welcome to Athens!

Arrive in Athens, where ancient ruins and modern energy collide. After clearing customs, meet your local Program Director and transfer to your centrally located hotel. Take some time to refresh before heading out for an orientation walking tour through the heart of the city. Stroll through charming streets, see historic landmarks, and get a feel for Greek culture. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner with your group and get ready for an exciting adventure ahead!

Day 3: The Acropolis & Greek Traditions

Step back in time as you explore one of the greatest wonders of the ancient world—the Acropolis! With a guided tour, visit the Parthenon, Erechtheion, and the Temple of Nike, all while taking in breathtaking views of Athens. Next, visit the Acropolis Museum, home to incredible artifacts from ancient Greece. Tonight, experience an evening of Greek culture with traditional food, music, and dance—OPA!

Day 4: Saronic Islands Cruise – Aegean Paradise

Set sail for a full-day cruise through the stunning Saronic Islands, known for their rich history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking scenery. Stop in Aegina, home to ancient ruins and charming waterfront cafés. Continue to Poros, where neoclassical buildings and a picturesque clock tower await. Finally, explore Hydra, a car-free island famous for its art galleries, scenic harbors, and preserved architecture. Enjoy lunch onboard as you take in the incredible views of the Aegean.

Day 5: Sea Turtles & Cooking Like a Local

This morning, visit a sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation center, where you’ll learn about conservation efforts to protect Greece’s marine life. Afterward, enjoy some beach time—swim, relax, or play in the sand. Tonight, get hands-on with an interactive Greek cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare traditional dishes before sitting down to enjoy your delicious homemade meal!

Day 6: Ferry to Santorini – The Black Pearl of the Aegean

This morning, take a ferry to the postcard-perfect island of Santorini! Upon arrival, head to the archaeological site of Akrotiri, a well-preserved Minoan city buried in volcanic ash. Walk through ancient ruins and imagine life in this Bronze Age settlement. In the evening, visit Oia Castle for the world-famous Santorini sunset—a magical moment you’ll never forget!

Day 7: Volcano Hike & Hot Springs Adventure

Today, set sail from the Old Port and embark on a boat trip to Nea Kameni, Santorini’s active volcanic island. Hike to the crater, learn about the island’s dramatic history, and snap some amazing photos. Later, sail to Palea Kameni, where you can swim in natural hot springs heated by the volcano. This afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through Fira, admiring its famous whitewashed buildings, blue-domed churches, and stunning caldera views.

Day 8: Ferry to Crete & Exploring Heraklion

Board a ferry to Crete, the largest and most diverse of the Greek islands. Arrive in Heraklion, the capital of Crete, and set out on a walking tour of the Old Town. Discover the Venetian Fortress, Morosini Fountain, and Loggia, and take in the lively atmosphere of Heraklion’s bustling markets—a perfect place to find local souvenirs and handcrafted goods.

Day 9: Exploring Rethymno & Traditional Crete

Today, journey to Rethymno, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Greece. Walk through its Old Town, visit the charming Venetian Harbor, admire the Rimondi Fountain, and explore the Fortezza, a 16th-century fortress offering panoramic views of the town and sea. Next, travel to Vamos, a traditional village where you’ll visit an olive oil factory and learn about Crete’s centuries-old olive oil production methods. Meet locals, hear their stories, and experience true Cretan hospitality.

Day 10: Beach & Snorkeling Adventure

After days of exploring, today is all about relaxing on one of Crete’s stunning beaches! Soak up the Mediterranean sun, swim in crystal-clear waters, or try snorkeling (optional activity, not included in trip price). Whether you want to float in the waves, explore underwater life, or just chill with friends, this beach day is the perfect way to enjoy Crete’s natural beauty. Later, explore Heraklion’s vibrant shopping districts. Wander through bustling local markets, charming boutiques, and souvenir shops, picking up last-minute gifts and keepsakes. This is the perfect time to grab authentic Greek products like olive oil, handmade ceramics, and traditional Cretan sweets before wrapping up your adventure. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner celebration, reflecting on an unforgettable journey through Greece!

Day 11: Departure – Time to Say Goodbye!

It’s time to say farewell to Greece as you transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
